5 Years!! Woot wooooooot!!

Greatest Achievement: (Achieved August 19, 2011) Putting up with each other for an entire 5 years.

Just kidding. It's been pretty much just fun! To celebrate we ate some food, as is the traditional celebration at our house for all exciting events from milestone anniversary days to milestone didn't-put-on-pajamas-until-after-9pm days.

It had been a particularly long week and since we are planning on doing a big trip later this year to officially celebrate we didn't really make any plans. At some point in the evening Justin said "Well... you wanna go to dinner or something?" And I was like "Ok".

We decided on Mimi's because we hadn't been there in like 2 years and we used to go all the time on account of I adore their soup. As we pulled into the parking lot we drove past another restaurant that had a live band and dancing and looked like such a party. And that was when I got worried that Justin would want to go there instead of Mimi's.

I was nervous of his answer but I had to ask anyway. "Is it ok that I just go to an old person's restaurant for our anniversary so we can sit in the quiet?" He said yes. And that is when I was assured of his true and everlasting love. He is happy to sit with me at an old people restaurant and eat soup and free bread. And that's what love is.
